Gedetailleerd fotoverslag met bijbehorende teksten van het begin der werkzaamheden tot en met de feestelijke opening van de brug door Prins Bernhard op zaterdag 24 augustus 1946.
Dit album is vermoedelijk gemaakt in opdracht van Rijkswaterstaaten geeft een mooi tijdsbeeld weer. De band heeft wat slijtage plekjes; overigens is het album in uitstekende staat!
